Inheriting Tradition, Connecting the World.
The Gateway to the Birthplace of Kyokushin.

In January 2025, KWF Japan representation was officially assumed by the Kyokushin Hamai Group under the leadership of Shihan Mika Hamai — 5th Dan, former Japan National Team member, and competitor at the 2002 KWF World Championship.
KWF Japan & China now serves as the official bridge between the birthplace of Kyokushin and the global Kyokushin World Federation — connecting international fighters with authentic Japanese competition, and opening KWF's global tournament network to Japanese practitioners.
Shihan Noriyasu Hamai (February 15, 1954 – December 14, 2023) was a 9th Dan Kyokushin master, direct student of Sosai Mas Oyama, and one of the most influential figures in the global expansion of Kyokushin karate.
Entering the Kyokushin Honbu Dojo in Ikebukuro in 1972, he rose to become one of Japan's elite competitors — placing 6th at the 5th All-Japan Championship and 4th at the 9th All-Japan Championship. As a coach, he was renowned as a master trainer, producing world-class fighters including All-Japan and World Championship contenders Toshio Mizuguchi and Akira Masuda.
In 2007, he established KWF China, opening a dojo in Dalian and ultimately building a network of five permanent dojos across China, including Beijing. In 2016, he organized the 1st Mas Oyama Cup China Kyokushin Full-Contact Karate Championship in Dalian — drawing competitors from across the world.
His vision of connecting Japan with the global Kyokushin community lives on through the unified leadership of KWF Japan and KWF China under his daughter, Shihan Mika Hamai.
